Book Recommendation

This month, it's personal

My son, who is being treated for BPD, is seeing a psychiatrist who recommended this book to me as a resource to help with the management of his symptoms. It contains information about Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and the things you can do at home to help. I purchased the parent version of this book, but I definitely recommend this  if you have someone in your life dealing with BPD.

Web Research

For the mothers

I personally struggled with postpartum depression for years until I got the help I needed. Here is a link to the Mayo Clinic's website with information about it. If you believe that you or your spouse are suffering, please advocate to your primary care doctor so they can point you to services covered by your insurance.

Cancer Research Donations

Esophageal Cancer

We are starting off close to home with this one. My son's grandfather passed away from stage 4 esophageal cancer in 2021. This is a donation page for cancer research to improve the lives of those affected by this cancer and others like it. We have made so many medical advancements but cancer is still a terrible thing for someone to go through. I've given you the access to donate for yourself because I have a big problem with corporations using people's donations as a tax write off.
